Maya 2019 - Hypershade Bookmarks - Node Editor Bookmark Editor

Hi there!

I have recently really been trying to find a way to organize the way our materials are laid out in maya. We can get some complex trees, and it would be incredibly useful to have a system in place similar to Substance Designer or Nuke.

Unfortunately that doesn't exist, so I have been trying to use Bookmarks in the node editor. To be honest with 2019 this would be almost perfect, however the Node Editor is missing the Browser in it. I've tried tearing the Browser out of the hypershade and placing it into the Node Editor, but it starts throwing errors the moment the hypershade is closed (because it's trying to update a window that no longer exists). Apparently from what I've seen, in 2019, the hypershade is now a node editor, not a hypergraph so YAY! ๐Ÿ˜„

I've mostly worked in Python...

I have a couple questions here:

1) Can the Browser be accessed from the node editor and I am just missing it somewhere??

2) Is it at all possible to script the Browser to not depend on the hypershade (as it shows in the hyperShadePanel.mel)?

3) Can I script the Bookmark editor to layout on the end of the Node Editor when opened?

4) Are there plans to add Bookmarks to the Hypershade? This seems like perhaps something just missed, considering the hypershade is a node editor now.

Thank you for any help or input you have! ๐Ÿ˜„

Shane

*BUMP*
I suppose creating my own browser may be the only option here?
