Maya 2017: Arnold Render Sequence vs Batch Render

I'm still adjusting to arnold from mental ray

Is the Render Sequence slower than Batch Render ? 


Would like to hear your thoughts for those who have Arnold license because I'm still using the student version.

And you can just try it. Increase the Arnold log verbosity to Warnings + Info, and compare

The time to render shouldn't be any different
