Hey , light linked doesn't work correct at viewport 2.0 in maya 2016  but at Legacy High Quality mode  it works  right . Can you fix it at viewport 2.0 ?

The viewport you're using should not effect the light linking in your render output. Can you provide a screenshot?

we can see light linking result in the viewport 2.0 when render output . it is confusing.  I would like to limit influence of the lights on objects but it is not clear which  light affects and which not .

The following features are not supported in Viewport 2.0, and do not function with HLSL shaders when using the DirectX rendering engine.

But this should not effect your render output.

  • Hair
  • Fur
  • Fluids
  • nMesh (cloth)
  • Particles
  • Paint effects
  • Hierarchical subdivision surfaces
  • Active stereoscopic cameras
  • Light linking
