Helpless at the simplest problem *cries*

 I have several lights in my scene and the shadows are full of noise even though I turned the filter size to maximum 3 in maya software. Can anyone help please?

p.s I experienced a lot other problems as well such as software skipping render command and camera lag. its just frustrating. Is it because I'm using school Mac? it's supposed to be better than my home iMac tho...

Sincerely,

Need help

thx

Hi!

1. noisy shadows: select the light and in Attribute Editor ...LightShape -> Shadows -> Raytrace Shadow Attributes -> Shadow Rays (increase to a higher value)

2. skip render problem: in Render Settings -> Common -> Frame Range -> Skip Existing Frames (disable)

3. camera lag:

Disable some options in Viewport like:

Lighting -> Use All Lights

Lighting -> Shadows

Disable some options in Viewport 2.0 options /Hardware Renderer 2.0 Settings like:

-> Screen-space Ambient Occlusion

-> Antialiasing
