Geometry is not receiving shadows

Hi there

I am having a issue with a geometry that doesn't receive shadows. I have double checked all the settings for the mesh and all of them are checked just such as the rest of the scene. I will be attaching a render so you can see the problem. I am rendering in Mental ray and materials are all Blinn and Lambert for indirect lighting I am using an IBL and a directional light.

So all meshes have cast shadows enabled....?

the shadows seem quite bright for an IBL ... Are you using only one light source?

Hi Damaggio
I found the issue thanks god... Lol So it was the vertices twisted!
Once I "set normal to face" the mesh flipped the normal to wrong way and I had to flipped back to right position and that is it. The shadows were there 🙂
Thank you very much for you reply!

Cool great...if you set your viewport to show reversed normals it will help you a lot...In the Panels menu set Lighting> Two sided lighting, leave unchecked.
