FNaF Maya Render Shadow problem

I've been working on these Five nights at Freddy's models for sometime now; making them in 3DS Max, texturing them in Photoshop and Mudbox; and Rigging, posing and rendering them in Maya. However one thing I just cannot get right is the shadows and lighting, you can see on Freddy's face that the shadows too sharp and dark, this also happens to Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and to every-single model that has a normal map on, there must be a problem with the normal mapping I don't know if it that or the scene settings or the lighting or even the model itself. I tried changing the 2D Bump Attributes but that didn't work.

Does anyone know how to fix this error?

Thanks

(p.s. this is my first time posting here so I'm a little inexperienced in the website)
