does maya 2015 supports windows server 2012 r2

Please tell me if  maya 2015 supports windows server 2012 r2. I have a high end machine with windows server 2012. I want to use maya 2015 on it.

For day-to-day work I'd advise using a desktop OS.

I heard somewhere that maya 2015 also runs on mac os and its free for 30 days. I have a mac pro which runs mac os 10.10. Can you please send me a link for free trial if it exists...
