Clicking "Viewport 2.0" Does nothing at all?

This is the script upon opening mayaThis is the script upon opening mayaThis is the button that does nothingThis is the button that does nothingOk, so my issue is with Maya 2018.  When I click on the renderer tab at the top left of my viewport window, there is only one option that reads "viewport 2.0", and nothing else.  And when I click on it, absolutely nothing happens, nothing updates in the script editor or in the viewport.  The reason I need to activate the viewport 2.0 is because I would like to see shadows below the character I'm editing's feet in a playblast.  If anyone knows how to do that without changing the renderer that would also solve my issue.  Thanks!

Hi!

You also can't set any options, cause you wouldn't see anything if Viewport would not work.?

This looks like a problem with your graphic card (/ driver).
- Make sure you use a proper 3D graphic card for Maya.
- Update graphic card driver (maybe just re-install after an OS update), or
- downgrade graphic card driver.
- Try different Viewport modes (in Preferences).
