Batch render vs window rendering

Hello,

i have a question about the two rendermodes. Without a extra Arnold licence i can only render animations in window mode in Maya without water sign. So my question: Can i render also all kind of renderpasses in my animation in window mode, or have i there some restrictions?

Yes. There will be a folder of images for each AOV/render pass for each layer. Just make sure you enable Render All Layers.

Render > Render Sequence option box

Hope this was helpful, let me know if you have any other questions.

Cheers

Thanks a lot for the answer. To avoid a lot of folders and images so i can also render out the sequence with all passes in exr files?

You don't have to render out the AOV's. In the AOV tab of the Render Globals and in the Mode drop down select disable,  then can set you output image format to deepexr n the Common tab of the Render Globals.
