Hi, I've just been getting into using the Arnold renderer after upgrading to Maya 2017.
I realize there has been a few posts like this, however in my case Arnold was loading and working completely fine until I had crash while rendering earlier today. Upon reopening Maya and trying to load MtoA through the Plugin Manager, I get the following message:
// Error: line 1: The specified module could not be found.
(mtoa)
The Log also gives the following message:
Error: Unable to dynamically load : C:/solidangle/mtoadeploy/2017/plug-ins/mtoa.mll
The specified module could not be found.
I've read a few posts about checking the Maya.env file, however this file is completely blank (unless I am looking at the wrong one). I'm thinking the easiest next step is to just do a full reinstall of MtoA, but how to go about reinstalling Arnold? It's not really a program that I can just uninstall and reinstall, so how would that work? I'm assuming something got a bit messed up during the crash and hopefully a reinstall will fix it.
Thanks!
