Arnold 5.0.2 image sequence texture

Hello Everyone!
I'm trying to load a animated sequence exported from after effects into color and displacement channels of an aiStandard Shader, but nothing seems to work.
Video files does not work ( I tryed .mov h264, .mov Motion JPG A, .mp4, they don't render but apears into viewport), image sequences too (tryed .jpg, .tga, .tiff, with underscore or dot separating the file numbers from name, they don't render nor apears in viewport).
Anyone can help me? there is any way to render an shader with an image sequence texture in Arnold? If yes, what exactly are the settings and connections I need to do in the shader tree?
Thanks in advance!

You can't use video files.

Image sequences are as easy as clicking Use Image Sequence

Hi Stephen!
Thanks for the answer.
I tried loading the images as in their attachment, and it did not work. I tried with .tga, .jpg, .tiff, and the result is the same: no render. What configuration exactly does this work? What format do I need to export, and which nodes do I need to connect? I can't find any tutorial or anything in Maya documentation regarding this.

There's no specific format you have to use: just the formats supported by Arnold.

There's no nodes to connect.

When you enable Image File Sequence, Maya inserts a <f> token into the Image Name

And <f> is replaced based on the Image Number and Frame Offset fields.

Check the Arnold log for errors, or export an ASS file and see what filename is being exported.

Bro! you saved my life. Thank you very much. When I created the file node to connect the texture, I did not notice that there is a difference in the interface between Hypershader and the attribute editor.

Before I noticed this I was trying to use the Movie node, which was the only one to show me the option of loading a sequence of images.
Thank you!

Hi!

You can change Hypershade to show all Attributes too (blue/cyan icon).

I bring in an image sequence and tick image sequence box, it doesn't work.

I get error, png file doesn't exist, node file 4

Hi. I had the same problem. Here is what i did. On atributes editor, above the image name i clicked on edit. Than i chose file  and then i chose the option: open animation. The i loaded the image sequence and saved. What will happen is that maya will change your image sequece to iff files. Than reload the image sequence in the image name, but now choose the iff files as a sequence
