Animated UV offset not rendering - Arnold / Maya

Hello,
I have a cartoon binoculars rig that fakes eyes in its lenses by using a simple ramp.
In order to move the pupil of the eye, I animate the ramp´s place2dTexture Offset values for U and V.
It shows in the viewport correctly, but Arnold renders the pupil always in the 0,0 position, ignoring the animation (the attached image portraits the situation).
Does anyone know how to make it render correctly?
