aiShadowMatte giving red shadows in render screen

Hi

I'm currently rendering a perspective match in Maya. I have an aiShadowMatte applied to the floor plane and when I reflect light onto the objects in the scene the shadows are red in colour. 

On a normal plane the shadows reflect correctly.

So far I've:

- Made sure the shadows are set to black

- There is an image plane attached to the camera and a aiSkyDome

- I've tried setting the background colour to both white & Black

I had a similar experience, when I used Mesh_Light, aishadowmatte produced a reddish shadow. Try using an Area Light.
