AI standard material is greyed out

AI standard material is greyed out. So if i right click on it some options like "assign material to selection " are not available. How to bring back them to normal condition and to have option "Assign material to selection" ?

Looks like some "old" deprecated Arnold 4 Shader (it does not work with them in newer versions).
