Will Maya overcome houdini in future?

Because 2-3 days ago i searching for this answer 

because i learning maya for last 2 years and when searching for jobs they started to mention Houdini.

Now i having little bit confused about my future that why asking

Yes maya overcomes any software in the market , it’s the industry standard .

Even if you mainly learn one 3D software only, it's good to be familiar with other 3D applications too, as most studios use multiple different 3D software side by side.
