problem with workspace

My toolbar where things like (windows, setting preferences...) are normally located simply disappeared. I've already reset my workspace, restarted Maya, restarted my computer. But it's not coming back at all.

it looks like you are using a Customized window/menubar layout. Try clicking this dropdown and changing it back to a standard mode, (i.e. Modeling) and see if that helps.
