Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a student at the university of Sheffield and for my dissertation I am looking into have automatically design object for timber off site manufacture. This would mean a user could draw ie roofing joists and if they then changed the span the depth would automatic change to accommodate this. Is this something that can be done one Revit ? after looking into to the subject I found that the most lily way would be BIM smart object or using python. Please email me at cpbols1@Sheffield.ac.uk.
