Missing scene's name?

Hello everyone,

      My problem is filename is missing in Maya. The problem behavior is when u open the Scene and then press "Ctrl+s" Maya will prompt the Save As dialog instead of saving. Even query the scene name vie ' file -q -sn ' the result still blank. The scene is not Empty.

An Empty scene has no name. That's might explain why it returns an empty string while querying the new scene name (empty or not).

You might rename the scene before saving if you had started the scene from scratch.

A Scene isn't empty. To be specific, I have been working on this file for at least five versions (v005), Then I sent the scene to another computer to work on version v006 and then send back to my computer. I open the v006 scene but my Tool can't get the scene's name so I tried to get the file name via a script that returns an empty name. Then I press ctrl+s intended to save the file but Maya prompts the "Save As..." Dialog instead of "Save" Dialog.
