I am studying very hard to be an Animator. I'd like to know if we can use scripts to make the task more efficient,smooth & fast. What're the usual situations to which we can apply MEL? Kindly give some short examples.
I had a scene where a bunch of child's wood blocks had to roll at various speeds and lenghts of time, so I wrote this little script to create a gui to set some parameters for the block motion. it was much faster at this type of tedious keyframing. This would be a very utilitarian type of script.
