How To Force Maya to populate and update ComponentTagBase ?

Can someone from the dev team answer this please? Theres currently no documentation how to use componentTagBase properly.

just a guess... have you tried dirtying it?

recreated scenario - its updating but ui elements of the node are not - try to collapse and expand its attributes

i tried everything even using dgdirty. ogs -reset... nothing reliable. so ended up giving up using componentTags for modeling currently.
