fixing a curropted .mb file

I saved my work a second before lights went off. my .mb file is most probably not saved completely. is there anyone from Maya support who can save this file for me? 

 

no Asci files are found in recovery.

It's not possible, it is a .mb file. 

Why did you choose mb?

that's maya default and less in size. you mean I always save asci?

yes thats how you should work

and now you know the reason why. 

You can save a MB once the asset is complete.Also always save back ups.
