Why does unfold 3D no longer scale for texel density? how do i fix this?

I just recently went from 2015 maya to 2018 maya and the unfold 3D got worse.  it no longer scales for texel density? why not and how do i get it back to the how it used to work? i've uploaded images of what default settings would do for 2015
