Is there a way to select coplanar faces that cause this type of flickering? I'm trying to clean up a large scene and going over every polygon face by face takes a lot of time

Models should not overlap like this, just fix the topology and it will be fine when rendering.

Most of the time coplanner surface sits on top of each other. Which means the verts are also sitting on top of each other. So select all the vertices of that geo then go to EditMesh Merge tool's option box. Change the threshold value from 0.01 to 0.001. press merge. It should fix your co-planner issue. 99% of the time that works.
