Rolleiflex Project - I'm a noob... please help :(

HI!

This is the first time I've asked for help on a forum, nice to meet you!

So I have to model a Rolleiflex... this is what I've done so far 😞

I'm new to Maya, so please, any advice is extremely precious!

How should I proceed for the "frontal lenses"? I was thinking about a boolean but I'm not sure...

I wanted to model it "all in one piece", but I have no idea how to combine the topology of each knob to the main "body"...

Help!

You don't need to merge the knobs to the body , the lens should be separated also.

Most importantly is to model correctly for it's final purpose.
