Progress unsaved after i restarted Maya

I've been working on a character all day and Maya has crashed a bunch of times, when ive started maya again iv'e gotten the option to retrive save file which ive been doing each time. Now when i restarted maya and opened my file normally everything i had done today was gone. Is there any way to get my saved data back? I saved contantly while modeling just so my progress wouldnt disappear...

If you saved over the crashed-restored version, then it is located in the Temp directory.. idk about Mac, on Win it usually is in C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Local\Temp

When Maya crashes, just by a sheer luck you will get your scene saved with no data loss. I would not bet on restore dialog. Better turn on Preferences>Files/Projects>AutoSave function.
