Problems selecting faces

Whenever I use the marquee select tool to select a bunch of faces at once, it includes a bunch of faces on the opposite side of my cube. So I now hafta select one face at a time using shift select, which takes a long time.

I made sure symmetry is turned off, but the bug is still happening.

I even deleting the User Prefs file, but the bug is still happening.

Please help me!!!!!!

check camera-based selection option.

You may try Camera-based selection ("enable").
