Problem with transfer Attributes

Hi, I am having a bit of trouble with the transfer attributes. I modeled a character completely in Maya then I exported the model to ZBrush where I placed textures and color and afterwards I exported the model back into Maya with the UV map. Once the model was imported back into Maya alongside the UV maps, I followed along on a tutorial, I made a duplicate of the model then I opened the options window of transfer attributes where I selected topology. The problem started when I hit the apply button on the transfer attributes where nothing happens however a new tab opens up in the attributes editor.  I even made sure that the model doesn't have non-manifold geometry and if was clean.  I installed the new Maya both 2023 and 2024 versions to see if updating would work but unfortunately it didn't work and still does the same thing as above. Need some help please. Can someone help?

The image below is showing what happens when I press the apply button on the menu of the transfer attributes and it opens up a tab in the attributes editor tab.

Have you checked your UV Editor to see if the UV's were transferred from one mesh to the other? That's where you will actually see if the transfer took place correctly or not. If nothing changed in your UV Editor maybe try Local sample space. The sample space option is dependent on factors like topology, vertex order, position in space, etc.

@jenkins3632

I looked at the UV maps in the UV Editor and both maps look fine to me. I don't really know for sure but can you tell me if these two UV maps looks alright or not.

Images of the maps are below.

Yeah those look okay. How do they look on the mesh you are transferring them to? Or is it just blank?

They look okay on the mesh although I haven't put the textures on the mesh yet so can't say on that.

Update: The transferring attributes works on arm model but won't work on heads modeling. It's just opens up the transfer attributes tab but still nothing happens.

Maybe try placing the 2 models on top of each other and try a world space transfer if you can't get any of the other sample spaces to work.

I did world transfer attributes and did not work. It only gave me this.

I managed to get the UV map right side up after it was upside down then I clicked on world of the Transfer Attribute menu, which it worked however there is a line on both the model and UV map. Can this be fixed or if not will the line be noticeable when I put the textures on?

Image below shows the line on the UV map, circled in red.

Nevermind. The world transfer attributes never work.

I already figure it out. It was the geometry between the two models that was off.
