Moving, rotating, scaling without gizmo

Recently I moved from blender to maya and the biggest functionality lack for me is that I have to work with gizmo to move, rotate and scale stuff. Is there is a way to setup maya to go to move, rotate or scale  mode in one hotkey like in blender?

If you dont know what I mean: in blender I can instantly move, scale or rotate object by pressing only one hotkey, even set the axis in which transform is being made, and press LMB to confirm transform. Is there is something like this in maya?

W, E, and R are your hotkeys for changing Transformation type.  If you are against the gizmo tool, then use the Channel Box, click the transformation you want to make and middle mouse drag anywhere on the screen to change the position, orientation, or scale. You can also highlight more than one value in Channel Box and then same deal, middle mouse drag to change.

(Channel Box = Upper right-hand corner. I clicked Translate X)
