Merge vertices problem

For some reason I am no longer able to select multiple sets of vertices to be merged at the same time, only a single set of vertices that will be merged.  For example I used to be able to select all of the vertices in a while mesh and merge them all at the same time, now I have to zoom in and ONLY merge those that will become a single vert.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance!!   (Maya 2017 update 3)

Hey @Alexaendergfx I just tried this out on my scene by selecting 6 vertices and hitting merge to center and it worked fine. You could try deleting your settings/preferences and see if that fixes is it. If not feel free to post back with some screenshots/video and let me know if I can help

Deleting settings and preferences fixed it. I usually try to figure out what I goofed up before resetting haha. Thanks for the help!
