Incorrect OBJ exportation

I have some text in 3D that I originally obtained from a SVG. It looks good in Maya 2018.

However, when I export it to OBJ and visualise the files, I get very strange artefacts (see below).

How can I fix this problem?

Triangulate the mesh before export.

Or turn on deformable.
