How would I remove all those unwanted egdes ?

Hi everyone ! I'm new to maya and I have a bit of a basic question to ask.

How would I automatically remove all of those unwanted edges

In the whole polygon?

Mesh -> cleanup and its options doesnt seem to do anything...

Hi!

I believe you need to delete them manually, as this is not something that you can solve with the clean up tool!

Selecting each edge (clicking, or double clicking) and hitting delete, or clicking Edit Mesh → Delete Edge/Vertex should solve your problem!
