How to bend the edges of polygon faces to be rounder?

It seems like there ought to be a function that can take edges or faces and automatically bend them to create a rounder perimeter, by radius and other parameters. I can't seem to find this function however. Does anyone know a way to do this? Circularize if the closest I can find but it is entirely too strong in it's lowest settings as it tries to make circles. I'm just looking to make faces slightly more rounder, by radius.

Ah, interesting.. Thanks for the quick response!

Looking into Edit Mesh > Average Vertices, It seems to just move the selected vertices. Is there a setting or way to have it automatically slice the faces and create more vertices to accommodate a bend?

Playing around with it it, I found I can sort of affect it but not exactly in the way I was hoping. When manually slicing the faces up to create these additional vertices and then doing an average on these new vertices, It does a bend, but in the wrong direction. Also don't seem to have much in the way of radius control. What combination of vertices would you recommend I select to accomplish this?
