help!!my polysurface exploded?????

hi, I am trying to work in both RHino and MAYA. exchanging file via IGES. and when I import RHino Polysurface to MAYA, all Polysurface becomes indifidual Srf. (They are detached somehow), before I export it from RHino, I had ensured that each surfaces are joined together as a single closed polysurface.

how do I maintain a polysurface so It wont be exploded when I bring it to MAYA?

here is the breakdown of the process =

1. I created a window mullion inside Grasshopper in Rhino. I have joined every single surface so each mullion is a Closed Brep (Merged Surfaces) =

2.and this is what I got when I open it in MAYA =

it would be a tremendous pain to attach all those Srf all together in MAYA. how do I maintain a closed polysurface from Imported IGES? Anybody knows?

thank you 🙂

I am having same issue, I am working between Fusion 360 => MAYA => Vred

All the surface were properly stitched and grouped when exported from Fusion 360 and imported into Maya.

I then scaled, moved and grouped each of them and then exported all the surface bodies in IGES, upon importing back in fusion or vred, all the surface is unstitched ungrouped!!!

Help !!!!
