Focus on selection doesn't seem to work properly when isolating an object

I seem to be having issues with focusing (f) on a selected edge. When I focus on the edge without isolating the object everything works as it should. However, when I focus on the edge with the object isolated, the camera view zooms out quite far which defeats the purpose of isolating on an edge. I have frozen transformations, centered the pivot, and deleted the history of the object and still have the same issue. Anyone got any ideas why this might be happening?

Hey - can you tell me which version of Maya you're using? We did fix an issue (MAYA-122789) that is in 2023.1, that may address this issue. Can you upgrade? If so, can you let me know? Thanks,

Thank you! I dowloaded the Maya 2023.1 update and that seemed to fix the issue
