Faces Dissappear when scale or move

All of a sudden my scene is bugging out on me.  I have this object and I cant manipulate these faces without them disappearing on me. Any Idea what is going on? At this same time I am having objects disappear when trying to snap to another object and also another object that seems un de-selectale, its always selected 😕

Thanks for posting! Have you tried Resetting your Preferences yet? Something may have gotten corrupted after using Maya for an extended period of time.

Is this behavior only happening in this specific scene, or does it happen in brand new scenes as well?

Hi!

For me this looks like a problem caused by history.

Try Delete ... History.

For further help please upload a scene-file.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I tried to both delete history and reset preferences  but I still had the same issues with the faces dissapearing. In the end I just rebuild that mesh since it was small and easy but I never figured out what the issue was. I suppose something just got corrupt and is all working now that I rebuilt it.  Im still learning so likely I just did something terribly wrong with they way I modeled the object 😛 Thank you for your help!
