For some reason when I try to duplicate something now it won't let me. I am in Maya 2018. It seams to be creating a null object or something? I can not get it to work right. Not sure why. I did shut down the program for a while and came back and its' doing the same thing. Can anyone help. Sean Heasley?

Hi!

Sorry but that's no answer to my question.

What are you doing exactly, step by step and include the correct command names.

Please add a screenscast.

Sorry I am trying to duplicate items. It was working before I must of hit a wrong key and now it's not working. When I select the item it looks like the first pic. Where the engine cowling is selected. When I hit Command D on my Mac it looks like the second image. Screen Shot 2018-06-15 at 9.22.46 AM.pngScreen Shot 2018-06-15 at 9.22.53 AM.png

I think something happened to THIS file specifically. I just started a NEW file to test and that file is NOT behaving that way. I must have hit a setting or something. NOT sure what I did wrong.

Hi!

OK, so it's a scene-specific issue when using "Duplicate" (CTRL+D),

please upload the scene-file (only the problematic object needed, you can remove other objects if you want).
