I am doing my school assignment and i have trouble making the dinosaur skins , i googled for all sorts of skin texture and tried to bump it and import it into maya , but the result is always either too bump or very unrealistic , does anybody have any ideas or tips for creating texture for dinosaur skin? website or video or anything will be helpful :x
When im unable to find textures that fit my models i allways go to http://www.cgtextures.com/ find a texture that has kind of skin formation go to PS edit it with other 20%transparent pictures to create good textures. Or you could just use one of thise from http://www.cgtextures.com/.
