Curve mode objects and weld them like zbrush?

exampleexample with curve mayawith curve maya

I have a new upcoming VR project for medical purposes to make. my responsible is to make an intestine model (huge one)  so then you can walk around it / tour inside the model. and whenit'ss done it has to be imported to UE4.

i think I would make some unique parts separately like 2 or 3  and then UV map them first, then i would use curve in maya and MASH  them so they could follow along the curve path.

but i noticed that in maya i couldn't weld them together like zbrush curve mode.

are there ways to make this work? or any ideas on modeling repeated objects such as a tunnel. and with some extra details on each part.

thanks for reading!

One single object should be enough. Just model like the reference image.

the model has to be large and detailed. its more like a level rather than just a model here.

But you wrote you wanna weld the model together, or if you really want separate tunnels than just leave as you have it and just fix the gaps. you can get all the detail from UDIMs .

i would weld it but rather than welding them manually im looking for a function in maya like zbrush has.
which you can have multiple objects welded automatically along the curve

Zbrush is a sculpting program. Certain process will not work in Maya. But there is always work around to achieve the same goal. Of course not one click.

Most of us use other 3D programs to build a lowest possible model and then export it to Zbrush. Not the other way around.
