Clean Up + B

Hello I am doing cleaning process for the first time. I was looking for non manifold geometry and as I applied ''select'' it did show me a few green vertices.. In one of tutorials online there was an advise to use soft brush to see into problematic areas. As I changed to this mode this is what I ended up with and I do not quite understand what it tells me or how to move on from this and clean up the mesh

I would appreciate any help
