Hello everyone, I am having difficulty modifying a pivot point on an object in Maya 2016, and I have seen how to do it through the Insert or D key and I am working with a Macbook Pro so since there is no insert I have been using D, but when I use the button it brings up the point like so in the first screenshot but I can only rotate it about the red axis, and that's it. I really need to move it's position but no matter what I have tried or looked into I can't find why this is happening. Any help at all or pointers in the right direction to get me going are greatly appreciated!
