Can't Scale Freely in UV Editor

Good evening everyone.

I'm trying to use the scale tool to scale down selected faces in the UV editor but it's not letting me scale down.

Scaling from the top or the side just flattens the faces completely. I can scale up, but it does it in large increments. If i go to scale down, the faces are no longer visible.  I assume there is some setting in the editor that can fix this.

I've read a few post here attempting to address this problem. I have looked through the Online help pages. Holding J allows me scale freely in the UV editor. Where can i disable the snap function for the UV editor. I do not have this problem in the viewport. and snap is disabled in the tool settings.

Check your trasform settings, also check your scale tool setting

Thank You That worked. The solution is in the UV toolkit under transform in Scale tool.

One thing I figured out is that if you go to UV editor >> Tools you'll see Move Rotate and Scale. Click the small box on Scale and check and see if Step snap is off. If not then turn it off. Hope this helps you guys
