Aim constraint/parent hydraulic rotation problem

Hey guys.

I've been working on a project for a spider tank; I've got everything working quite well except my setup for hydraulic cylinders when I move the legs.

Under normal conditions they work correctly, the cylinders are parented to their respective leg segment and ar aim constrained to each other to keep facing each other when the legs rotate along the x-axis.

But when I rotate the overall leg the cylinders keep a vertically upright position as they move along their parent restraint, causing them to twist.

I have attached two pictures of what I mean as well as the scene file.

I would much appreciate if someone can tell me if I am doing something wrong and how to avoid this issue. Or if there is a better way to create piston cylinders like that.

Best regards!
