3D anime vfx

Hey there, I've been using maya for some time now I have a basic understanding of it but I was curious if there were any tutorials out for "Anime Style" VFX I've left a video example of what I'm talking about.

The only tutorials that come up are for blender.

Could someone please point me in a direction to learn how to do this, thanks.

start searching for toon shading and cell shading.
the flat strong color is quite distintive of animation , here a random tutorial on 3 tone shader

then you can look for the most famous lava shader/ material online
for how to add multiple masks and emissive color.
