Wireframe Topology Standard for Showreel

Hey Everyone,

I have a few questions that have been bugging me since I've started working on a hard surface model of a tank for my Showreel. I've modelled the tank trying my best to keep it in quads however with the use of booleans and bevels The topology is significantly hard to correct and the detail that's gone into my work would take too long to go back and redo. I was wondering with Hard Surface models is it ok to use a combo of both Triangles and Quads? I'm not smoothing my mesh so I don't have to worry about it becoming deformed but I've come across a few hard surface models online that contain triangles, quads and even ngons so I was wondering if it was ok to do the same bare in mind I'm using this for a 3d modelling Showreel. Bellow is a picture of a model I found online that includes  both quads and triangles so you underatand what I'm talking about

Thanks!

It depends where you submitting your reel, I advise you to look at the companies you are interested in working at and see their guidelines, one thing to keep in mind is that Game reels are different than film reels since the modeling requirements are slightly different, regardless though a good artist can be recognized by the quality and attention to detail in the work submitted.

Best of of luck.
