UV unwrapping - relaxing inner vertices

Hi

There was a method I learnt, and I can't remember where - whether it was a course video or some tutorial on YouTube - where, if you only want the inner vertices of a UV shell relaxed, you could go to Select > Texture Borders, and then hold Shift and left-click drag over the UV, which would invert the selection, so only the vertices are highlighted. After that, I don't remember what the next step was. I'm not sure if it's just Unfold, but every time I do it now, either overlayed UVs have their centre vertices mess up (and even if they're not overlayed for that matter), or everything gets moved around and fills the UV grid from what I currently have.

I really hope someone is familiar with the method I'm referring to. I used to use it and only the inner vertices would relax, as though you were using Unfold on a shell for the first time after making some cuts. Pinning was definitely not involved. And even when I've tried it, it doesn't make any difference. Likewise with using the Optimise or Unfold Tools with a brush. It's going to bug me for ages now. Hope someone can help. Thanks.

*Sigh* Doesn't look like anyone knows what I'm talking about. 😕 I was going to ask another question, but not sure if it's worth it...
