Hi there,

this is probably a really silly question: I unwrapped an object and have separate UV-shells. Those have shared edges and vertices with other shells - so far so good. BUT - when I select and want to move one shell, it automatically selects the vertices of the selected and the other shell. This prevents me from moving one shell, because it will distort the other shell with a shared edge/vertex.

- This happens, whether I am in UV Shell, Face, vertex or edge mode. It doesn't matter if I change it.

- The only way I can "make do" is pin every other shell and move the one I want, then repeat this for every single shell.

- It worked in the beginning and acted normally, then at some point, it started doing this.

I assume that I have pushed some hotkey which I am not aware of or changed some setting. I hope that the attachments makes sense.

Thanks very much to whoever has an idea of what this could be.

YESSS!!!! THANK YOU!!! I read this before, and mixed up soft selection with keys 1 and 3 - for whatever reason. I am so happy - thank you again!
