Tool Similar to "Follow Me" in Sketchup but in Maya?

Hey Everyone,
I am trying to find out if there is a similar tool to Sketchup's "Follow Me" tool.

Here's an example of what I would like to do in Maya.

2 Steps

Create a close curve using curve tool. Make the Pivot away from it. That will be your Radius.

Go to the surfaces Menu-set and choose Revolve
