Snapping pivot to vertex don't work

I am using Maya 2022.2 and I have an ImagePlane where I'm trying to snap the pivot to a corner using D and the holding V (standard usage for years). On this version, and previous versions of 2022, NADA. I don't get it to snap. VERY bad. WAYYYYY Interrupting my modeling workflow. Anyone else experiencing this? Autodesk, PLEASE HELP!

Note, this ONLY happens when I'm using the TOP view. Perspective it seems to work as advertised. Thoughts? Hoping it's a bug and not a problem with my own CPU

Is your object in a group?

No. Not in a group. Only from TOP view

Hi GynnFX - I'm running a couple of tests here and I think I'm going to need more info to reproduce this. I've tried this in 2020, 2022.2, 2023.1 and I cannot see what you're describing. Here's my workflow:

Go to top view and View > Image Plane > Import Image. I have also tried with a Create > Free Image Plane.

Get into pivot mode (d on mac, insert on windows (i'm on windows))

Press the v key and move the pivot to a point on another geo

Is this what you are doing? Thanks, Catherine

If you are in viewport2.0, that's the issue.  Set it to "Legacy Default Viewport".  Amazing that Maya would take away this useful feature with viewport2.0.  ☹️
