Revolve tool issues

Hi all, I am learning Maya via this tutorial, trying to make the candlestick and my results are different, object from revolve seems to become inversed. https://youtu.be/tZieJcA5vf0?si=OktTgO9g1ODjbRKp&t=6893. Attached photo showing how my model comes out when I try to replicate from tutorial. Help much appreciated

can you show your curve and the pivot? i think you have to adjust it since it´s set to revolve around it.

update: I moved the pivot point by using the move tool + Insert to adjust pivot point and got this result, thank u for the tip.
