Red Vertices, Not Soft Select

Hi There,

I just finished mirroring, combining, merging my polygonal object and when I went to vertex mode, all the vertices were red instead of the usual purple color.  Other than vert color, everything seems normal, modeling-wise - verts are able to be manipulated/moved.  I'm just wondering what this new mode I've entered might be.

I turned on poly count during the merging process so I investigated around that part of the display menu in case I accidentally turned something on without knowing it.  No luck.

I've trashed preferences/restarted.  Still no luck.

Any help, insight is much appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi!

Please upload a scene file.

First check Mesh Component Display of your Shape node, maybe you activated Display UVs.

Thanks for responding!!

And thanks for suggesting the Mesh Component Display.  Just checked it and Display UVs is turned off.

Also checked face normals while I was at it, they look...well, normal (heh).

I've attached a scene file.

Thanks again!

Hi!

In Shape node:

Mesh Controls -> Vertex Color Source (set to "None")
